Social media is here to stay – whether you’re on Facebook, Clubhouse, LinkedIn, Twitter or any of the other platforms. Because of that, if you’re spending time on social media to market your business you need to make the most of the time you’re spending there or the money you’re spending to hire someone to do your social media marketing. Knowing how to get real social media results is crucial in our business world today.
Implement some of these tips and let us know if this fits into your strategy and if you’re growing your following and making sales.
You don’t have to post seven times a week, three times a day. In fact, less is more. You don’t need to post all the time in order to gain a following and build a community. In fact, if you post too much, you will drive your followers away. That being said… posting more often on Twitter is less “annoying” than posting too often on Facebook – the reason is that on Twitter, conversations move so quickly that your posts may not stay in front of the followers for too long.
Along the lines of “less is more” post shorter updates. No one wants to read a novel in a social media status update. If you have long content, post a tease on your social media update and drive the reader to your site.
Get in front of a camera and post video content. More than 70% of all consumers of social media content would prefer to watch a video than read a status update. Food for thought.
Be yourself. Let your followers see that you are authentic and let them get to know, like and trust you through your content. Be transparent and approachable
Let’s get to work on a social media strategy by first knowing which platform you should be sharing content. Do you know where you should be?
